Who will I be buying my car from?
We source our cars only from accredited dealerships.

By completing this application, am I obliged to purchase a car from your participating dealer?
No. If you are not absolutely satisfied with what our accredited dealer has to offer you, you are under no obligation to purchase anything from anyone.

What if I am looking for a particular make of car?
Our accredited dealers stock a wide selection of cars and will usually have in stock a car that will be acceptable to you.

Am I guaranteed to obtain finance from one of your accredited dealers?
Every person’s situation is different so there is no absolute way to guarantee you will obtain finance . However in most cases Budget Auto finance will be able to assist you.

Does my credit rating make a difference to how I get finance?
Yes. We have different deposit requirements depending on your previous credit history. If you have a good credit history, the usual loan procedures apply and you will have your loan quickly. If your credit rating is not so good then we can probably still help you. Enquire how our lending processes can be tailored to suit your individual circumstances.

What if I have filed for bankruptcy in the past?
If your bankruptcy has been discharged and you are currently employed, you will most likely qualify for a car loan from Budget Auto Finance. What if I have had a car repossessed in the past?
In most cases, if a fair amount of time has passed since your repossession occurred, we will still be able to help you.

How can you help me if my bank or credit union has turned me down?
Budget auto finance specialise in financing people with credit problems. We have resources that are not available to individuals seeking a car loan through the bank.

When I submit my application, what happens next?
Your information is assesed and forwarded for approval for a car loan. We will normally contact you within 24 hours with the status and details of your loan.

What other methods can I use to speed up the process once my application has been accepted?
After we you put an application, please fax or email all necessary documentation, such as your photo ID, proof of address, a copy of your bank statement,pay slips to (03) 9555 9935.
